How secure is Paypal? It is really impossible to hack it?

im still confuse with your question..are you mean someone try to hack PP site?? are that is able to do or not??

My answer is not..because PP is secured by DDOS also SSL..no one can hack the site..before the hacker try to hack he was caught and be jailed lol...just relax because PP site will never got hacked :)

Paypal is so secure it has very good scripts. Their server is almost unbreachable by anyone only if there is someone good enough to do it. But unfortunately there is still no one to do that task. The problem is outside of paypal we can be hacked through our own deeds by giving our information to other person without knowing so we must check on our sites we visit.

No one can hack the PayPal and if they do PayPal can tack the records of transaction which helpful for knowing where money goes . There system may be simple for us,but not for hackers and cheaters. For example some send you money in your account PayPal can know the person place with of unique transaction code.

If you are referring to someone hacking our main account,i will say it is possible.The fact is that can happen if we are careless with the account information.As for the paypal site,i have never heard anyone hacked it,they are using the best security which no one no matter how good you are can surpass.

Theirs always a great possibility that your paypal account will be hacked. Theirs a security breach in the site itself. Or in your computer. Anyway my account once has been hacked but I also get my funds back after 5 minutes. As long you also know what to do.

Compared to Liberty reserve there is not much of security in paypal at all. Only secure thing is that they detect IP and password. Most of the time they don't let anyone access the out of country user. but if you have the password then IP detection hardly matters. This is what i learned from their security site.

well if about our account get be hacked that is really possible if we aren't careful..may that is because keylogger or we open PayPal at the public network..but if PayPal site got hacked that is impossible :)

I thought of the thread title as the Paypal site itself being hacked. So far, if that is your question then I can say that it is possible. Same with other sites, they're possible to be hacked anytime especially if at some time, vulnerabilities were detected at your site.

surely paypal.com cant be hacked by someone. Thats impossible because paypal is so strict and they have strong protection or security . Paypal is old but no news that paypal is hacked. Members should not panic because paypal is secure. everyday is secured.

Nope. They don't ask you any question at all. They don't have strong IP security at all. I just acessed with germany proxy for my paypal account and it is working. You just have to change the language and it goes to US mode and from your account login it find way back to the country you belong. Nothing is protected on paypal.

Well it depends on what you define as hacking in these circumstances, as to actually hack the system would be nearly impossible as would need to get past and change all their websites framework along with the database records etc. No, you wouldn't try to do that, however if your account has a weak password people can actually enter your account and move the funds out of it.

yeah.. i agree with you. If hacking the main site of paypal, its very rare and its impossible. It can only if a member of PayPal will steal informations about the site. And about personal account of a member, It cant be hacked. It can also if a member is easily tricked. Like "PHISING Style", that one of the latest trick a member can be trick off. Be careful and always check your address bar.

I am not worried about my funds in PP. I am sure they will take care of it. And I believe they will do everything to make every users funds safe from any hacking activity. I really believe they have best service in the net.

If PP really had experience hacked before then that maybe the reason why PP is so strict now and that really make sure that the funds on their users are safe and sound. And now they are the most secure payment processor online.

I know that paypal is very secured but if you don't take good care on your account somebody can hacked your account. There are many downloadable files on the internet that have a key logger attached to it. If you like downloading something on the internet please always try to scan it first to avoid this kind of problem.

I really think that to scale up a mountain of 8860Ms. is easier! :) PayPal's absolutely the most secure online payments processor ever, so it wouldn't be so easy! You know should know why paypal is recommended for everyone who wanna earn and pay in the internet!

It is indeed so impossible to bypass the security of paypal as well as gain access to all money and data because it is the most highly secured payment processors.

Nothing is absolute. Paypal s currently very secure and it would be near impossible to hack their sit but nothing is perfect. It could fall to a good hackers' attack but the possibility is very low.

To some extent you can keep eye on the paypal security. after that like any other payment processor or service the security seems to be taking a back step. I have seen that no site or software is 100% secure. So we just move from one threat to another with most of the service. So just withdraw money the second day you get funds.

That is really a safe move but it is hard to do for those who have unverified paypal accounts yet like me. I prefer entrusting my fund to paypal's hands until i get my account verified.

Yes i agree with you that paypal is very secured and the only way to hacked our account is the method phishing. I also use paypal for almost a year and never had a hacking issue.

Yes. it's very reliable and secured compared to other online payment processor out there. Of course you can't compare paypal to other online payment processor out there and their security is very high, that's why many people wants to use it.

Yeah, you can't really compare PP to the other payment processor online because there is no other payment processor of high caliber like PP. Up to date PP is the best and the highly used payment processor online.

But no one can say that this paypal can't be hacked, yes it is safe but paypal always need to take care and think about the level of their security because there are many good hackers out there. But your right, as of now this is the best online payment processor.

Every payment processor online is best in its own way, every site has got thousands of members using their services with new features now and then. Paypal also is the same. There are hackers always planning to hack some or the other site and the payment processors making their security tools more advanced and strong and paypal certainly has good fraud prevention techniques.

really impossible to hack PayPal site..why? because PayPal have a good securities on their site..to hack a regular site without any protection was really hard..plan to hack PayPal just look like dummy idea haha..beside that i was learn about Payment Processor script..although you are admin you aren't able to edit the amount of money member account include your self :)

Yes I agree with you that all payment processor online have their best on their own ways, But for me paypal is the best because it really helps me a lot in my online earning, for some people this is not the best because sometimes they can't use paypal because of some country limitations and other issues.

I this not a bis issue of being a high security it can't be hacked. because a hacker always create some new idea to hack the website,and that is their own creativity.do u don't get the news that 3 years ago 3 Paypal account are hacked with some good funds there.
so don't think that only high security can prevent the attack of hackers.it's need many protection in their server.

I agree with you no website can be 100% secure in this age of technologies. As technologies develop the hackers become more smarter and have more tools to use for hacking no matter how secure. We must not just rely on their security but also make the account secure for ourselves too.
